cute site for cloth diapers

I don't have time for a proper post on this subject, but I just came across a great website for people looking at cloth diapers. It's called Green Way Baby Wear, and the owner makes really gorgeous looking cloth diapers and diaper covers from wool and bamboo... if I weren't about to start toilet training with my toddler I would get some.

I promise another time, when I have more time, I will explain about what diapers/nappies I use, which ones I have tried, and why I mainly use (shock, horror) "disposable" diapers.... before you become too outraged, please note that I live in Australia, where there is a severe, ongoing drought, and the water used to wash cloth diapers is very precious... but more on that soon, I promise :-)

My mom sent me this site the other day! Can't wait to give them a try. Thanks for linking this site and reminding me of it.

I found quite a good site that sells clothes to fit over cloth nappies which is quite handy - http://www.welovefrugi.com (look for their Cut4Cloth section)

Have you ever tried soap nuts for cleaning cloth diapers? I find them to be the best for getting the smells out.

I LOVE soap nuts. They are the best for getting odours out of clothes & even cloth diapers.

Hi Karen,
Thanks for your comment. Your job sounds really important, and you must help a lot of people. As long as you are being really present and connected with your son, and feeling how much you love him and what a priority he is in your life he will feel this too. If you are really in touch with your feelings then you will have a sense of the right balance for you and him. Just because you are at your job and loving your work does not mean you love him any less. In fact, having his Mom do work that she loves, and that is truly helping other people is a beautiful gift to give your son :-)
